As part of the Erasmus+ ESN-AIR project (Engaging Students for eNhancing Internationalization Practices in the Adriatic-Ionian Region), we participated in the Open Day of the University of Montenegro, an event that provides a unique opportunity for high school graduates to explore various faculties, study programs, and mobility opportunities for international academic experiences. This event welcomed over 3,000 high school graduates, offering them valuable insights into all the opportunities the University of Montenegro has to offer.

During the event, experts and professors from the University of Montenegro were available to answer students questions, provide detailed information about studying, and support them in their decision-making process. A crucial role was played by the Office for International Cooperation and Mobility, which introduced students to the Erasmus+ program and all the opportunities it offers. This way, future students had the chance to learn about international exchanges, studying abroad, and the possibilities available to them throughout their academic journey even before enrollment.

Additionally, the event promoted the Erasmus Student Network Montenegro (ESN Montenegro), which provides support and assistance to international students at the University of Montenegro, helping them integrate into their new environment. ESN Montenegro plays a key role in organizing activities that help students adapt and fully enjoy their international experience.

Through the ESN-AIR initiative, we highlighted the importance of internationalization in higher education and the role of student organizations in strengthening the university community. By participating in such events, ESN-AIR continues to support young people, foster intercultural exchange, and contribute to building strong and well-connected universities in the Western Balkans.
