Today, at the Rectorate, the company Elektroprivreda Crne Gore A.D. Nikšić (EPCG) presented a valuable donation of €10,000 to the University of Montenegro. The donation agreement was formally signed by the Rector of the University, Vladimir Božović, PhD, and the CEO of EPCG, Ivan Bulatović.

Donation is intended to support and enhance scientific and research activities at the University of Montenegro, enabling students and researchers to develop their projects and contribute to the advancement of innovation.

Rector Vladimir Božović, PhD, expressed his gratitude to EPCG for its continuous support and emphasized importance of cooperation between the business sector and academia — both for strengthening the University’s capacities and for the benefit of society as a whole.

“This donation is a strong incentive for our University and our researchers, especially for young people who work every day to contribute to the development of science and innovation in Montenegro. We are grateful to EPCG for recognizing the importance of investing in knowledge,” Božović said.

EPCG CEO Ivan Bulatović stated: “Support for education and science is one of the pillars of Elektroprivreda Crne Gore’s social responsibility. We believe that investing in knowledge and young people is the best investment in our country’s future. Through projects like this, EPCG aims to contribute to building a modern and competitive knowledge-based society.”

Support such as this reaffirms importance of collaboration between academia and industry in creating innovative solutions and serves as a powerful motivation for young researchers to turn their ideas into tangible results.
